Dr Marchionne graduated from the Veterinary University of Pisa, Italy in 2012. In 2013 she completed a rotating internship in a 24/7 small animal clinic in Rome, where she remained working as anaesthetist for an additional 2 years. In 2016 she moved to Tuscany to work as a full-time clinical anaesthetist in a small animal referral centre and at the same time started studying for a Master’s degree in small animal anaesthesia and pain management at the University of Pisa, which she obtained in November 2017. Dr Marchionne moved to the UK to join a large referral hospital in the South of England as an Anaesthesia Intern in 2018 and recently she has been working both as an anaesthetist locum and in general practice.
