Sara Legnani

Sara qualified in 2009 from the Università degli studi di Milano and then spent few years working in general practice in Italy and in the UK. As she had always been passionate about dermatology, she then returned to Milan to start a specialistic internship and then went on to complete a residency program in veterinary dermatology in a busy referral hospital, in 2017. After passing her board certifying exam in 2018, she joined the University of Liverpool Small Animal Teaching Hospital as a Senior Lecturer. She joined Chestergates Veterinary Specialists in January 2026. Her special interests include new diagnostic methods and cutaneous infectious diseases.
