Claire graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1991 and gained her Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology in 2001. In 2004 she joined the Liverpool University Veterinary Hospital to work in the dermatology referral clinic.

After leaving the university, she started seeing dermatology referral cases at several veterinary practices throughout Cheshire and South Manchester. Claire takes a particular interest in allergic skin disease; she performs intra-dermal allergen testing and formulates personalised treatment plans for her patients who often require long term therapies. Claire is an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Dermatology.
