Hama graduated from the University of Pisa Italy, in 2012. Between 2012 to 2016, she completed a PhD in ultrasound locoregional anaesthesia techniques in dog and horse, and spent a year at the University of Bern, Switzerland, where she was involved with clinical anaesthesia and a research project in calves.
She moved to UK in 2015 and started a Residency in Anaesthesia and Analgesia at University of Glasgow. Hama is studying towards her European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, painting and practice yoga.
