Hayley Garner
Imaging Team Leader
Hayley qualified in 2007 and did her veterinary nurse training in a veterinary hospital in North Wales. Following this, she went to a small, two vet practice for 6 months but soon realised that she preferred a hospital environment. She came to Chestergates in November 2007, and has been here ever since. During her time at Chestergates she has held various rotating roles through all the disciplines and was integral to the running of puppy hearing tests and Chiari screening for Cavalier King Charles spaniels. In 2017, Hayley started in imaging and now runs the imaging department, performing many CT scans on a daily basis, which she really enjoys. Hayley also runs screening for elbow dysplasia in guide dogs, and the IVDD programme with the Kennel Club to Dachshund owners who again want to check risks of intervertebral disc disease before breeding.
