Marco was born and raised on the lake of Garda in Italy. He attended Milan University, and after completing an internship in France, qualified as a vet in 2008.

He subsequently moved to Rome to work in a referral clinic where he became interested in neurology. After working in referral clinics in Spain, UK and Finland he undertook his neurology residency 2016-2019 at Koret Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Israel and will sit his Diploma exam in February 2022. His main interests include neuroradiology and neurosurgery although he enjoys all aspects of neurology.
