Qualifications

• Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Surgical) (DipAVN (Surgical)), 2009
• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), 1998

Sarah qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1998 and worked within first opinion practices in Northern Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. In 2003 she started as a referral nurse specialising in orthopaedics, soft tissue and ophthalmology. She obtained her Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Surgical) in 2009 and in the process won the BVNA Award for the highest marks achieved in the examination. In 2012, she moved to ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists where she is currently Clinical Co-ordinator. Sarah enjoys all aspects of her role especially working alongside a specialised team of clinicians and nurses and is proud to have been in the profession for over 25 years.
