Born in Canada, Anika studied veterinary medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in Poland. After moving to the U.K. upon completing her degree, she worked in a busy first opinion practice. Keen to explore all aspects of the veterinary field, she joined the Chestergates team in January 2024 as a rotating intern.

She also loves creative writing and exploring the outdoors, mainly kiteboarding, hiking, and equestrian sports on her mare Baila.
