James graduated from Cambridge University in 2019 and worked in first opinion practice for four and a half years before joining Chestergates to undertake a rotating internship. During his time in practice he grew a keen interest in surgery and is looking forward to working with the different specialties to further develop his knowledge and skills.

Outside of work he is kept busy hiking and exploring Cheshire as well as looking after his frogs at home.
