Victoria Foulkes
Medicine Team Leader
Victoria qualified in 2008 at a mixed practice in North Wales and then started working in referrals at Chestergates Veterinary Specialists in 2009 as a rotating nurse. In 2011 she took up the position of Internal Medicine Team Leader at Chestergates, in charge of the day to day running of the medicine department and the hospital wards. Her role later changed to focus entirely on the team leader role in the Internal Medicine department and running the Radioiodine unit for the treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats, as a Radiation Protection Supervisor.
Victoria completed the VetsNow certificate in emergency and critical care, and in 2013 she gained a Master’s degree in animal behaviour and welfare.
She is a clinical supervisor and really enjoys teaching and seeing her students’ progress, so much so she teaches part time at Chester Veterinary Training Centre. Most recently she has been very lucky to be voted on to the BVNA board of council.
In her spare time Vic enjoys paddle boarding, archery and she is an avid beekeeper.
