Chestergates Veterinary Specialists are now able to accept referrals for tracheal and bronchial stent placement.

6th June 2023

Dogs affected by severe tracheal and/ or bronchial collapse may benefit from stent placement.

Our specialists in cardiology, Liz Bode and Mattia Basili, are able to perform this procedure in dogs under general anaesthesia. We are able to use our state-of-the-art fluoroscopy unit to aid placement of the stent. Together with our nursing team we can provide 24 hour supportive care following the procedure.

Tracheal stent placement can be a lifesaving procedure and improve the quality of life of dogs affected by tracheal collapse. If you would like more information, or to discuss the suitability of a case, please contact us on info@chestergates.org.uk or 01244 853823.
