Georgia graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013 and spent two years working in a large, mixed practice in North Wales. Pursuing her desire to become a specialist small animal surgeon, she spent a year in a rotating internship at North-West Veterinary Specialists (NWVS), followed by a year as a rotating intern at the University of Bristol’s Langford Small Animal Hospital (during which she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice).
In July 2017, Georgia moved to Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists to undertake a residency in small animal surgery, completing this in July 2020. She then moved back closer to home and spent 18 months working at NWVS. Passing the ECVS examinations to become a European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery in July 2021.
Georgia left NWVS in 2022 to take a career break to travel and work as a locum surgeon, before starting a permanent position here at Chestergates in august 2023.
