Born and raised in Romania, Nicolae graduated from Iasi University of Life Sciences in 2017 after which he worked in a mixed practice and dog public shelter for 13 months. In 2018 he moved to the UK where he worked for 5 years in small animal practice. This was a time when he experienced tremendous growth developing a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. In January 2024 he joined Chestergates Veterinary Specialists in order to undertake a rotating internship.

Outside of work Nicolae enjoys hiking and exploring new places.
