ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists would like to invite you to a multi-disciplinary CPD event – Friday 18th March 2022
Management of congestive heart failure and anaesthesia of Cardiology Cases for the general practitioner
- Do you feel concerned about whether to anaesthetise your cardiac patients?
- Are you unsure about which drugs to choose for your cardiac patients?
- What sedation protocol would you choose for urgent chest rads in an acute respiratory/cardiac patient?
At this CPD you will learn:
- Considerations for drug therapy for management of congestive heart failure cases from RCVS and European Specialist in Cardiology Dr Liz Bode
- Anaesthetic considerations for cardiac patients with Dr Luís Filipe Louro, European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia
- 3 case examples of trickier anaesthetics in cardiac patients
This will be a small group taught session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss any cases you wish. Breakfast will be provided before the event and the timings are as follows:
8am – 9am: Arrival and breakfast
9am: CPD start – lectures and case studies
11am – 12pm: Questions and discussion
12pm: Depart
