Welcome to our new team members

ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists are delighted to welcome two new team members:

Neurology Clinician

Anna Tauro GPCert (Neuro), DVM has joined ChesterGates as Clinician in Neurology. Anna graduated from the University of Bari, Italy and worked in several small animal practices in both the UK and Italy before completing two small animal rotating internships in UK followed by a residency in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery supervised by Professor Clare Rusbridge. Anna gained her General Practitioner Certifi cate in Neurology GpCert(Neuro) in 2014 and has been working in the UK and Australia as Neurology Registrar since February 2017. She has lectured in neurology as well as in rehabilitation topics and her research interests include polymyositis in the Hungarian Vizsla for which she received the BSAVA Award for the Clinical Research Abstract in 2013 and application of 3D-CISS MRI sequences for surgical planning.

New Anaesthetist

Hamaseh Tayari has joined as Anaesthesia Referral Clinician. We are delighted to welcome Hama Tayari to our anaesthesia team. Hama graduated from the University of Pisa Italy, in 2012 and then spent some time at the University of Bern, Switzerland before moving to the UK in 2015. She started her Residency in Anaesthesia and Analgesia at Glasgow University in 2015 and also completed her PhD in ultrasound locoregional anaesthesia techniques in dog and horse in 2016. Hama has now completed her Residency and is preparing for her European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
